Upon the recommendation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Algiers 2 University hosted the closing ceremonies of CI-RES Project “Project of Creation of Institutional Capacities for the Integration of Refugees in the Higher Education”, organised by the University of Sétif, the programme Coordinator.
The event took place on December 12th, 2022 in the conference room “Moufdi Zakaria” in the presence of the Supervisory Ministry representatives, member universities from Algeria, the Mediterranean Universities Union “UNIMED” and French, Spanish and Italian universities.
The CI-RES project main goal is creating institutional capacities for the integration of refugees in Algerian higher education (Cooperation University – University & University - Society). The project is considered as
a pilot experience which proposes a reorganisation of the organic and functional structure of higher education partners in order to address the current problems of effective integration refugees in the higher education institutions.
It is t be noted that Algiers 2 University was the first university to join the sub-network of CI-RES project, whose creation was announced, today, during the project closing ceremonies which lasted three days.
