A study day on “Philosophy and society”

The laboratory of Civilization and History Problems in Algeria organized on January 21st, 2020 a study day on “Philosophy and society” in the laboratory headquarter located in Bouzaréah.

 

The Vice-rector in charge of Post Graduation and Scientific Research Pr. El Hadj Aifa announced the official opening of the study day and gave his speech through which he valued the laboratory activities and called to organize more actions.

 

For his part, the Head of Laboratory of Civilization and History Problems in Algeria, Pr. Lakhdar Cheriet pointed out, through his speech, that the study day is part of the celebration of the world philosophy day, while stressing the importance of philosophy in all fields.

 

The study day included two scientific sessions in which the teachers discussed different topics, such as: “the role of philosophy in the Arabic and Muslim society”, “Religious media in Algeria”, “Morals of Arabic and Muslim society in the age of globalisation”, “Philosophy and the issue of illegitimate emigration” and “absence of idol in the contemporary Muslim society and indulgence between individuals”.
