The University of Algiers 2 received on November 4th, 2019 the German author Daniel Gerlach to present a lecture entitled “The Middle East doesn’t perish: The Arab world in front of its historical chance”. His visit took place in margin of his participation in the International Book Fair of Algiers.
The Cultural Attaché of the Federal Republic of Germany Embassy, Mr. Arne Tholk, opened the Lecture and introduced the author, who pointed out the importance of Zenith magazine to make known the Muslim civilization in the western world. Moreover, he spoke about the historical relations between Mediterranean countries and the relationships between the ancient history and the current societies.
It should be noted that the author is a journalist and expert in Middle East issues, chief editor of the German magazine in the Middle East “Zenith” and General Manager of the foundation Candid.
