Reception of a delegation from the University of Limerick from Irland

The University of Algiers 2 received on November 12th, 2019 a delegation from the University of Limerick, Ireland. The delegation was composed of the dean and the vice-rectors of the university to discuss the possibility of signing an exchange and cooperation agreement between both universities in the field of teaching and scientific research, such as history, psychology and English. They also discussed the possibility of cooperation in Erasmus + program. 

A visit in the different departments and structures of the University took place, during which the members of the delegation discussed with the teachers, the students and the heads of the University.  

It should be noted that the University of Limerick is an Irish university located in Limerick. It was created in 1972 under the name of “National Institute of Higher Education in Limerick” and became a university in 1989. It is considered as the first university in Ireland after the foundation of the state in 1922.
