The University of Algiers 2 Abou El Kacem Saâd Allah hosted on October 30th, 2019 at the Grand Auditorium, in Bouzaréah the activities of the training day on “Proclamation of November 1st, 1954: the problem of the original document and the official call” which took place on the occasion of the sixty fifth anniversary of the 1st November revolution outbreak.
The Conference was opened by the welcome address of the Head of History Department Pr. Abderrahmane Oulad Sidi Chikh, in which he talked about the resistance of Algerian people during the liberation revolution, about his path and his struggle which saw light on July 5th, 1962. He spoke in addition about the importance of these information days which give to the students more information about the history of Algeria.
On his part, The Dean of Human Sciences Faculty, Pr. Abdelaziz Boukena, gave his speech and expressed his pleasure on dealing with such subjects which allow us to see the impact of the revolution and which revive the collective memory. He thanked, moreover, the Director Said Oulmi for his documentary films that relate the history of the Algerian revolution.
The training day consisted on the projection of a documentary film entitled “In the way of the Concentration camps of Algeria” for the Director Said Oulmi, to whom the Rector of the University Pr. Ammar Manaa paid a tribute.
Furthermore, two communications have been presented, the first dealt with the Proclamation of First of November “Investigation on the document” by Dr. Allal Bitour, and the second was about the history of Algeria in the balance “The issue of the founding text of the Algerian revolution” for Pr. Mohamed El Korso.
The training day ended by a debate between teachers and students.
