The University of Algiers 2 Abou El Kacem Sâad Allah received on October 24th, 2019 in The Grand-Auditorium of Bouzaréah the work of the first Conference on awareness of Early Breast Cancer Screening Importance. The latter has been organized by the National Organization of Students’ Solidarity, in collaboration with the group ‘Wastabikou-el-khayrat’.
The Conference has been opened by the address of the Vice-rector in charge of Pedagogy, Dr. Abdelhamid Ben Cheikh, through which he thanked the organizers for such initiative that distributes a sanitary culture in academia.
The Vice-rector in charge of External Relations and Cooperation, Dr. Assia Kaced, focused in her address on the importance of the early screening of breast cancer to prevent this disease.
The Conference was attended also by Dr. Feriel Hafid, a doctor specialist in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, who gave a lecture on the importance of breast cancer early screening, its symptoms, the diagnostic and the prevention of this disease. She has besides answered the questions of the present.
A video and a chant about the disease were presented; furthermore, the members of the National Organization of Students’ Solidarity paid tribute to the teachers and to those who participated in the Conference.
