Interdisciplinary Research Laboratory: Speech Analysis, Language Didactics and Interculturality (LIRADDI) organised an International Colloquy on Academic Pedagogy Challenges and issues for Education in French Language in the Digital Times. The Colloquy took place on October 6th and 7th at Grand-Auditorium of Bouzaréah.
The Head of Laboratory and President of the Colloquy, Pr. Karima Ait Dahmane, spoke in her opening speech about the laboratory activities and the main problem addressed by the Colloquy, and pointed also that the latter is a continuation of the precedent. She thanked evenly the participating teachers and all those who contributed to the success of the Colloquy.
For her part, the Vice-rector of External Relations and Cooperation, Dr. Assia Kaced, valued the Colloquy theme which she considered as a topical one and mentioned the importance of French language in the Algerian society, then announced the official opening of the Colloquy.
The Colloquy included four main lines, namely: Education in French language in the digital times: representations and practices; Educational devices used for a quality teaching and learning of French as foreign language (FLE); Impact of ICTs on the nature, content and learning methods of French; Continuing education, research and educational innovation.
The Colloquy was concluded by some recommendations that would improve the quality of the teaching French in Algeria.
