The University of Algiers 2, in coordination with the National Office in Charge of European
Program Erasmus+, organised on October 29th, 2019, a training day on how to establish a Jean Monnet project, with the presence of the Universities of Centre representatives, namely: deputy directors, administrators and teachers.
The training day was opened by the address of External Relations and Cooperation Vice-rector, Dr. Assia Kaced, through which she expressed the willingness of the University of making more efforts to strengthen the relationships between the national universities, and to work together to raise the rate of participation in the European research projects, especially those of Erasmus + programme, and hence getting quality Jean Monnet projects which will be acceptable by the European Union.
For her part, Mrs. Malika Kebri, the coordinator of National Erasmus+ Office in Algeria, spoke about the major points of Jean Monnet projects.
Moreover, a videoconference has been presented by the European Union Office representative in Brussels, Mrs. Victoria de Yturriaga Saldanha, through which she explained the steps to be followed for the implementation of a quality Jean Monnet projects in Algerian universities to attract the European Union for the funding. The representative spoke also about the objectives and the main points to be taken into consideration while implementing and preparing the project, and answered the questions of the participants afterwards.
