The Vice Rectorate for External Relations and Cooperation in Algiers2 University “Abou El KacemSaâdallah” is honored to invite our Master 2and PHD studentsto apply for Erasmus+ Scholarships for traineeshipoffered within KA171 (Third Countries not associated to the programme) by Sivas Cumhuriyet University (SCU) in Turkiye.

Therefore, all students desiring to apply are kindly requested to complete the online form hereinafter bearing in mind that all applicants must complete the application themselves, as signatures are required:

• Number of the offeredgrants for traineeship: 2(main) + 4 (reserve)
• Period of the mobility: All the mobilitiesare obligated to be realized in the spring term of 2023-2024 Academic Yearfrom 15 February 2024 to 15 July 2024. The deadline to realize the traineeship mobilities is 31 December 2024.The students need to be in Sivas on 1^stof February 2024 latest for the orientation programme and the registration processes.

• The applicant has to be a full-time enrolled student (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) at the sending institutions thatare given at the detailed quota table on page 5.
• The Cumulative General Point Average (CGPA) of the applicant has to be at least:

-for undergraduate students (Bachelor) 2.20/4.00

-for post-graduate students (Master or PhD) 2.50/4.00

• The language level of the applicant must be at least B2 in English or Turkish

The evaluation process will take place after the deadlines have passed according to the following criteria: 

• Language Requirement: English or Turkish(40%):

During the application, all students need to submit a placement test result from EU Academy. The EU Academy placement score can be obtained online through the link provided in the call within 40-50 minutes and will constitute 25% of the final language score. Any other exam result or certificate will not be accepted.
The student's language and communication proficiency will be evaluatedout of 100, considering the following breakdown:

Fluency in Language (25%)

General Manners (25%)

Motivation (25%)

EU Academy Language Score (25%)

A1 – Ineligible

A2 – Ineligible

B1 – 10 points

B2 – 15 points

C1- 20 points
C2 – 25 points

CGPA (60%):

This score represents the student's grade point average. Sivas Cumhuriyet University uses a 0.00/4.00 grading system, and if your university employs a different system, the CGPA score out of 100will be converted following thegrading system in Algiers 2 University“Abou El KacemSaâdallah”

PREVIOUS MOBILITY:

For each previous mobility in the current cycle (Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D), 10 points will be deducted from the total score. Students are required to submit certificates of attendance for their previous mobilities. No deduction will be made for completed cycles.

DISABILITY:

Documented proof of disability will add 10 points to the applicant's total score.

TURKISH CITIZENS:

If the applicant is a citizen of the Turkish Republic, 20 points will be deducted from the total score.

• Proof of Educational Degree:

-for Master applicants: last Bachelor Diploma

-for PhD applicants: both Bachelor and Master Diploma;

• Transcript of Records in English Language showing CGPA score (If not available in English, an official signed and stamped document by the university declaring CGPA is also accepted along with the original document);
• Europass CV

• Certificates of Attendance of the participants’ previous Erasmus+ mobilities;
• If the participant has any physical disabilities, a document that proves the disability (In English or in original language with an English document from the sending university confirming the genuinity).
